What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a site you visit. It lets the site recognise your browser on a later request — to keep a preference, to measure an audience, or to select advertising.
Cookies that are necessary
Some cookies are required for the site to work: keeping your consent choice, and session cookies used when signing in to the administration area. These do not require consent, and refusing them would prevent the site from functioning correctly.
Reading an article on ThreadEducation does not require you to accept anything.
Measurement and advertising
Where audience measurement or advertising is active on the site, the services concerned may set cookies to count visits, distinguish returning visitors, or select and cap the advertising shown. These are not necessary for the site to work.

Third-party cookies
Embedded content from other sites — a video, a social media post, a map — can set its own cookies once loaded, under the provider's own policy rather than ours. We have no control over those cookies and cannot read them.

Independently of any choice made on this site, every browser lets you view, block or delete cookies from its settings, and offers a mode that discards them at the end of the session. Blocking all cookies will affect many sites, not only this one.
